We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the second floor, overlooking the outside dining atea and the rooftop bar has a great view. “This place was heaven. There is a large lounge area with blankets that guests may take back to their room, a wonderful restaurant downstairs, a porch with rocking chairs, and a rooftop bar where guests may also go to relax. The halls are lined with beautiful local art, a stained glass window, and gorgeous chandeliers.
The whole hotel was extremely clean and smelled SO GOOD. The room was a bit small, but the lounge rooms were so inviting, I didn’t want to leave! They are nothing like the cold, lifeless lounge areas in a normal hotel.
The food was delicious, breakfast was a true spread with eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, biscuits, gravy, prosciutto, yogurt, and baked goods. The restaurant food also looked very good. They also had warm homemade chocolate chip cookies each afternoon. I’m telling you… this place is heaven.
Lastly, the staff was amazing, especially Jamie. She takes the time to take each guest on a full tour of the building and answer any questions you may have. She was so kind and thoughtful.
Overall, if you want a quiet place to stay that is within walking distance of pretty mich anything you could need, I would go out of my way to stay at the West Jefferson Hotel.”
